We started our search for an Australian Labradoodle 12 years ago because of my son's allergies and asthma to animals. There weren't many breeders in the US at that time, and no one in the United States was breeding Australian multi-generation labradoodles. Only two Centers in Australia were breeding them at that time. We received Lucky in December 2001 all the way from Australia and since there weren't any reactions in my son, and we loved Lucky's temperament and quickness to learn new tricks, we quickly decided on another. Sassy came to live with us in March 2002. Both Lucky & Sassy are our pets and are non-breeding dogs. They have wonderful temperaments, great personalities and will always make you laugh.
It wasn't long before I realized that more people should be aware that you CAN have a dog when you have allergies and asthma in your family. Our first litter was born in 2003. We are a small breeder located in Connecticut. We live on an acre of land. My husband, myself and three of our children ranging in age from 14-19 all share our house with our dogs and puppies. With dogs and kids, it gets a bit hectic at times, but we are thoroughly enjoying every minute of it!
While we do welcome visitors, please remember we do not have kennels so visits need to be arranged in advance. No visitors are allowed when we have new puppies or before the puppies have had their first vaccines.
