What our owners have to say

Back

July 6, 2010

Dear Barbie,

Wow!!  I don’t even know where to start.  When I contacted you, besides never having owned a dog I was also afraid of dogs.  I explained to you that I wanted a dog with an excellent temperament and that was hypoallergenic.  You far exceeded any expectations I ever had about owning a dog.  Biscuit is the BEST!!  He is playful, but also listens extremely well, he has been crate trained from the day we brought him home and is doing extremely well with being housebroken.

Also, and I am not exaggerating, we are not able to walk down the street or go anywhere without everyone telling us how cute and well mannered Biscuit is.  My husband and I have never received so many compliments in our entire lives.  You should be getting many phone calls in the future, because everyone has asked us what breeder we used.

Besides Biscuit, you are an amazing breeder.  You have excellent communication and responded to all my e-mails immediately.  I can’t thank you enough for bringing Biscuit into our lives.

Thank you again!!

Regards,

Jill, Wayne & Evan Mandel

Hi Barbie,

I have been meaning to e-mail you for a while. I cannot thank you enough for Clementine (originally Pink Collar Girl). She is the most lovable amazing dog I have ever owned. She brings so many smiles and so much love to everyone she meets. She loves to cuddle right up and give kisses. She has been so patient and a constant companion for Jack and Maeve. Jack teaches
all the kids how to stand like a tree if she jumps.  We say "kennel" and she goes right to her crate. It took 10 years of marriage to convince my husband a dog would complete our family. Now even he can't imagine our family without Clementine. He loves her more than he ever thought he would. You were right on when helping us chose the right puppy. Her temperament is
amazing. We get so many compliments on her. My sister swears she is part human. She is eager to please and never want to disappoint us so she is a quick learner. Don't get me wrong we have had our fair share of accidents int he house, but I can honestly say those were our mistake for not understanding her clues. We got her Poochie Bells that hang on the door. She rings them with her nose when she needs to go out. Anyway I could go on and on but in the end I just want you to know we could not be happier with Clementine and we have told everyone about Landmark Labradoodles.

Kind regards,
Kristen

Dear Barbie,

I know it's been over a year but we thought you might like to see a recent picture of Spirit who is now 1 year and 3 months old.  I know with all your parents and pups you might have a hard time placing her.  She was born on Oct. 20, 2007 and her parents were Amber and Ruger.  We picked her up on Dec. 15th and have been in love ever since.  She's smart as a whip and took to training like a trooper but she definitely has a mind of her own and has what we like to call "selective hearing" when it suits her needs - ha!  She loves camping and makes friends with humans, canines and felines alike.  She and our 6 yr. old cat Jax are the best of buddies and play together every day.  She helps to keep these "old timers" thinking "young" and did I mention we just love her to bits - ha!  Just thought you'd like an update and know that your "baby" is happy, healthy and having a great life.  Hope all is well with you and your family and all your canine children.

Regards,
Sharon & Rod

Dear Barbie,

I just wanted to write quickly and give you an update on Sydney.  She is doing great!

We took her to the vet on Thursday for her vaccines and puppy check-up.  The vet was great, and obviously thought she was a wonderful dog.  She is coming along so well with the house breaking.  She goes inside about once a day, and always on paper.  It means a lot of running up and down stairs, but we are starting to recognize the "look" and head down right away.

I cannot believe a week ago we were just excited about meeting Ms. Purple Collar.  Now, she has become such a loving and happy part of our lives that I cannot imagine what we did before her!  She is so well behaved, and so intelligent.  We feel incredibly lucky.

Thank you!

Molly

Hi Barbie --

I should have sent this along on Cooper's birthday, since I was thinking
a lot about you on that day. I just wanted to send along a recent
picture and tell you how much we all adore Cooper. He has truly made
himself central to the life of every one of us. As Matthew said a minute
ago, "I'm not a religious type, but sometimes I think Cooper is God's
dog and he's just letting us borrow him."

Anyway, all the best and thanks for giving Cooper such a great start in
life.

David Chapman (and family)

Hi Barbie,

10 pups!!!  You just got through with Amber's brood and now all these new babes to take care of - and I thought we had our work cut out for us with one small labradoodle - ha!  Tired??  I'd be exhausted!!  Spirit went for her first grooming yesterday and did very well.  She loved her bath and stood nice and still to be clipped and brushed.  I was happy to find out that she won't be one of those dogs who "head for the hills" whenever they have to go be "fluffed and puffed" - ha!  We go for our 2nd training lesson today but I feel very confident that she'll do well as she got last week's lessons down pat.  Well, we wish you the best of luck with your newest litter and we just can't help but think about the 10 people or families who will be lucky enough to adopt one of them.  We get more enamored of our little girl every day and are constantly finding new things about her that delight us.  Thank you again for bringing us together.  We'll keep in touch.

Shar

Feel free to include any emails on your "what our owners have to say" page.  I know when we were researching for a new dog we always were drawn more to breeders who offered responses from people who had bought from them previously.  As far as I'm concerned, if someone contacts you and seems very serious about getting one of your pups you have my permission to give them our email address.  We only have positive things to say, not only about how happy we are with Spirit but our whole adoption process with you.  Shar

Maggie is our puppy we donated to the Northstar Foundation.  Maggie has a big job ahead of her and is well on her way through the training process.  Good luck Maggie!

Hi Barbie,

How are you?

I'm fine and Maggie is doing awesome in our training program...she was with me for a few weeks, and then has been with one of our best puppy raising homes in New Hampshire ever since...

Below please find her latest post which reflects her progress...

I'll be sure to keep you posted on her progress!

Kind regards,
Patty

Maggie is just delightful, and knowing that she is going to a home with boys is very helpful.  How old are they?  We have a 1st grade boy down the hill who has already met Maggie,l and well try to get in more visits.  She is a love--we are so enjoying her!  We've been working on manners, (great "soft bite" technique, by the way, Patty--thanks for the tip--she's already doing much better with that!)  She is such a happy-go-lucky little girl, and has enjoyed exploring the farm and making it her own.  The weather has been so warm that we've had her outside "learning how to be a farm dog", as well as leash work.  She adores Brian, and follows him everywhere.  She seemed a bit tentative at first, but that didn't last long.  She seems to be up for just about anything... She's learning "fetch" and "sit", and of course, "come", which she's aces every time. I would love to know what hand signals you would like her to know, as well as any other "tips" you can give me that will help consistancy in her training.  She's doing well in public, and I think that her family is going to be very lucky to have such a sweet dog.   These NorthStar Dogs are really something special!

Please feel free to have her family contact me to get news on her progress--

Lorna

Dear Barbie –

It is hard to believe that it was two years ago today that we brought our puppy Fenway home, the last two years have been so wonderful with him. He is everything we wanted and more, he is our constant companion. It always felt like there was something missing in our house, we now know what was missing, Fenway truly makes our house a home.

Fenway has been such a joy from the beginning, he has been very easy to train. He seems to have a sixth sense in knowing what we need him to do, we call him a “person in a dog suit”. We are in pet therapy classes now and he is doing very well, we hope to start making visits in a few months. He passed his CGC test with flying colors, the only problem being that he was almost too friendly! He seems to almost have a sense of humor, he is constantly making us laugh with his antics.

We often get compliments on his looks and personality, we have gotten used to people chasing us down the street to ask about him. We are always more than happy to give out your website, we know they will be so happy with a puppy from you. Your follow-up communication has been wonderful as well, no question is too small for you to take the time to answer.

Thank you for this beautiful member of our family, we can’t imagine our lives without him.

Jean, Dana, Zachary and Rebecca Woods

Hi Barbie,
Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with Wiley. He is everything we wanted. He is such a happy fun loving pet. What a personality!  We really love him.
Thanks!

Hi Barbie.... Just checking in. Kaila is fantastic. She is everything we hoped she would be. She is 20 lbs at 5 1/2 months old and strong and healthy. She loves all kids, especially ours, and is doing really well in her obedience classes. My 7 year old Ciara takes her every week and they work hard together. Paul and I of course reinforce what she is learning in class as well. Everyone remarks how calm she is and how sweet she is. They can't believe she is as young as she is. That's not to say she doesn't have her spazzy puppy moments, because she does, especially if a group of kids is really loud or rambunctious. But she is great and we love her... Thank you.

Sarah O'Brien

Barbie,  Here is Tiger at almost 6 months.  She weighs about 32 lbs. and is nearly 20" tall.  She is a WONDERFUL dog.  We can't imagine life without her.  Thank you for choosing her for us!  This photo was
taken last weekend with my nephew.  Tiger had been running in the field all afternoon.  Here in NYC, she runs in the park with another  Labradoodle named Alfi.  Tiger and I work with a trainer twice a
week.  She has learned so much and continues to learn commands.  I could not wish for a smarter, more loving dog for our family.

The vet says Tiger Lily will probably not get much bigger than 45 lbs, but it's really hard to tell.  Her coat got much lighter but now
seems to be coming in thicker and redder.

We will keep in touch and let you know how we are all doing.

With best wishes from,

Roberta, Arthur, Bella, Bertie and Tiger

Hi Barbie~

Lido wanted us to send you an update on his life in Maine.  He wanted you to know that he has already gone swimming twice and really enjoys boat rides!  He is quite proud of himself as he is retrieving his ball like a professional.

From his family........Lido is working on the house training....not quite a professional yet !!  He has been to the vets once and is scheduled for his next visit next week.  He was quite the hit with the vet staff !!  Abby the cat is beginning to get used to her new roommate and they are slowly coming to an understanding on how things should be.  We are not sure who is destined to rule the roost as they are still sorting that sort of stuff out.

Hope all is well in Ct.

Hi Barbie,
Sam went to the vet and checked out fine.  He was the hit of the office.Everyone had to see Sam.  All the technicians and daycare workers came running to see Sam.  I appreciate your info.  Everything I read said he needed to go out to the bathroom 4 hours during the night.  I say "pooey" on that, since your e-mail he has held it all night!  The crate is in our room at night.  Potty training is doing well.

Thanks again--we love him!  Deb

Hi

Just returned from vacation (with Middy).  She loved the lake and my sisters Lab.  She is doing great!!!  As soon as I get a chance I will e-mail you some pictures.  Boy has she grown.  We love her so much!  She travels everywhere with us including lacrosse games.  As a warning I have given out your web site to MANY people who ask where I got her.

 Kim

Dear Barbie,

It’s hard to believe that Ziggy has been with us for nine months already and we still have not written you to tell you how much we adore him!  Since the day he came home with us he has been a sweet, loving member of our family.  He is extremely smart, polite, and eager to please.  We did do quite a bit of training with him from the start so he would have the tools to learn what is expected of him.  He picked up each lesson very quickly.  He really is very smart.  He plays like a champion too, running around the yard with the kids and chasing the squirrels.  He loves to play fetch, he especially loves to play with other dogs whenever he gets the chance to.  He’s happily crate trained, yet trustworthy when we let him roam the house without crating him.  He’s soft and cuddly, yet active and athletic.  He’s friendly and gentle with children, and he’s around a lot of them all the time!  We really feel he is the perfect dog for our family.  And it’s worth mentioning, no one has had any allergy problems with him, including my mother who was certain she would.  A lot of people stop us when we’re walking with him to compliment him and ask what kind of dog he is.

From our 6 year old daughter Sophie, ”Ziggy is a really cute dog and he learned a lot of things.  He licks us when we get hurt. We love Ziggy.  He’s so cute.”

From our 4 year old daughter Leah, “Thank you for giving us Ziggy.  We love him.  He’s really cute so we want to say thank you.”

Thank you for helping to make our family complete!

Warmest regards,

Sheri & Dave

Hi Barbie!
I just wanted to let you know that Murphy is doing great and we are so happy
with him! He is so lovable has been doing really well with his house and crate
training. We are so in love with him! I enclosed a picture and will continue to
do so in the future. Thanks again Barbie- he has lit up our life!
Jen Garrity

Hi Barbie,

Yes, we named him Pablo (his second name is Albright, after an old coworker of mine who recently passed away and had the same birthday as the puppies), and it fits him well.

He has made a very quick adjustment and follows Luna everywhere.  Did you work a lot with him on housetraining?  He has been amazingly good about going outside and has had only one accident!  He's very smart and learned to go up and down short flights of stairs the first day he was here.  He's still not quite big enough to get up on the couch himself, but he is trying!

Barbie!

I’m so sorry that I haven’t sent you a picture of the boys and Buddy Cooper.  I went on my trip and ALL the boys here survived!

I just wanted to thank you SOOO much for picking Buddy for us!

He is a WONDERFUL pup and we are in love with him!!

He is a smart one too! He just turned 14 weeks and already will sit, stay, lay down; and go to Ben or Chris when specified!

The guys are crazy about him and so am I!

Thank you again!

Louellen Karthaus

Hi Barbie!

Wow...Judging by the website, you have your hands full!!  I guess no vacation for you until the last puppy leaves!

Piper continues to be a sweet pup!  Really, she is the one for us...we keep saying that all we can do is mess her up (but we won't!)  She still has her barking sessions in the morning, but after 10:30 or so, she turns into a cat (don't tell her I said that!)...she hangs around and sleeps and chases things.  She's completely potty trained/housebroken and has been for almost 2 weeks...so much so that she stayed in a hotel with us last weekend, and was just a peach!!  She's gotten more confident around the yard, and I am looking forward to the Invisible Fence that will be installed next month.  Here are two pictures for Kristi...  she was 10 weeks old in the flower one and the sandbox one is from today (12.5 weeks).

Here's a question for you... other than tidying up mud spots or their eyes or ears, how often/if ever, should I/do I bathe her?  She always seems to be clean and sweet smelling...I've brushed her, and she looks great...is that enough?

Thanks for your continued help!!
Erika Mack

Barbie,

Hope you are well and hanging in there will all your new, beautiful
babies!

I still haven't figured out how to send more than one photo at a time
and I'm too tired to read the directions, so I hope you will forgive
the two separate mailings I just sent.

Tiger Lily is absolutely the love of our life!  Arthur is so in love
with that dog, it's amazing (me too, of course).  We weighed her this
morning, July 9th, and she weighs almost 11 lbs.  We are so amazed at
how easy and affectionate she is.  And smart....I have taught her to
follow me, to sit and almost, to go in the same spot every time.  She
eats well and sleeps in her crate beautifully.  She wakes up about
4:30 or 5 (this is a killer) then is quiet until about 6:15.  She is
eating well and has had very, very few "accidents".  Praise and
reinforcement with lots of exercise and lots of rest seem to be a
great recipe.  Anyway, I'll keep you posted as the weeks go on.  She
has DEFINITELY bonded to me, for sure.  She and I watch the Yankees'
games together every night and she sits on my chair, quietly.  She is
a great, great dog.  Thank you again.  She is a real gem.  Getting a
start in life with you was a tremendous bonus.  There is no question
you breed beautiful dogs with wonderful personalities.

With love from Roberta, Arthur and Tiger Lily (Tiger for short!)

Hi Barbie

We could not have asked for a better dog.  I was waiting for my digital camera to be fixed, so I could send you some pics of Taz.  He crate trained really easy (few days), he goes right in when we tell him to “kennel up” when we are going out, and goes in it a lot when he doesn’t have to,  and he is housebroken already (five accident free days and counting)!  For a puppy, he is very calm, and loves to be laying at our feet no matter where we are.  What a love of a puppy.  He just went to the vet for his 12 wk shots (didn’t like them).  The only complaint is that he loves being with us too much, if he’s left alone in a room by himself, he barks until someone comes back to be with him (boy can he bark loud and long for a little guy).  I think he’ll eventually get over that, as we do crate him when we need to do errands, and he does fine.  He’s been to a lake in Maine already, and loves to swim and explore.  He is just getting into the heavy chewing stage, but he’s got plenty of toys to chew, and hasn’t yet chewed anything he shouldn’t have.  We adore him.  Thank you so much for all that you’ve done for our family.  As soon as my camera comes back from the shop, I will send updated photos.

Julie

I do have one quick question,  when I was going over my paperwork with the vet, the microchip papers had the name “Black Bones”  written on the envelope, just wanted to be sure we had the correct number.  That is it for us.  Thank you again, we love Taz, and he is a great fit for our family—great match!

Rosie

Hi Barbie

I am so sorry I have not written.

Rosie is WONDERFUL.  She is already (for the most part) house trained.  She know sit, lay down, roll over, give kisses, do your business and most importantly, how to wrap everyone she meets around her little paw.

She did very well at the vet.  Vet even suggested for her to become a therapy dog because of her temperment.  I have already brought her into some counselling sessions and she soothes the broken hearted.

She has slept in my bed since her first night.  No accidents whatsoever.  Wakes me if necessary but ususally I have to wake her.  She is not a morning dog!  And I am not a morning person so the match is perfect.

She is growing in leaps and bounds and I will get someone to take a pic of her for you unless you have a picture cell phone then I will gladly send you one immediately.

She loves the snow, being outside, playing up a storm and still cuddles with her blankie.

She comes to work with me every day.  Several people have asked for your website address because of her gentleness and beauty.  Especially those families with children who have allergies.

The only problem...we've become perhaps too attached.  We will start obedience school as soon as she has all her shots at the end of the month.  We may do private lessons at home but it will be done.

I cannot thank you enough for the joy of my life!

Bernie

Benji

Hi Barbie!

Sorry for no feedback yet.  We were pretty busy this week.

We had Benji's first Puppy Visit to our vet yesterday.  As I'm sure you can guess, Benji came through with flying colors! NO intestinal parasites, NO other health issues!  He was very well behaved, too. Although he was shy with eating for the first couple days while he became acquainted with his new home, Benji is up to 12 pounds now.

Benji has been an absolute DOLL! He is so gentle with the kids.  He is especially gentle with the baby, whom he seems to adore. Little Shayna and Benji love each other and he even "takes it" when she accidentally whacks him while she's trying to pet him or hug him. They are so cute together.  Shayna has already learned to say "Dihgee," which of course means "Doggie" and is only her fourth or fifth word!  She has just learned how to make a kiss, and she makes kisses to the doggie when he licks her. It's really cute.

We had Shay's First Birthday party last week and some family from out of town came over after the party.  My parents were there with their older Miniature Yorkie and my brother and his wife brought their Shih Tsu (sp?).  All the doggies got along GREAT and everybody marvelled at how calm and friendly (and confident) Benji was with a full house and other dogs!  He really is a gem.

As for house training, we think Benji is on course. He continues to have an occasional accident of one variety or the other inside, but he has really taken to going outside as well.  He pooped once in his crate the first day, and he pee'd once in his crate, but that's all so far.  Given that he's only been with us for just over a week now, he's doing rather well.  Our vet gave us some additional crate training advice and support that got us back on track as owners/trainers. So we look forward to even more improvement in this department.  I'm guessing he'll be somewhat ahead of the puppy curve for crate/house training.

We've kept him on the same diet as the one you started him with, so his stool has been consistently solid (I read that this helps with house training).  There is a boutique pet store right in Madison that sells the Canidae kibble, so we lucked out in that regard.

Though Benji's been here over a week, we have yet to find anything that resembles a doggie hair that has fallen from him. Even when you wear black clothes, you don't need to use a lint roller after holding him on your lap for ten minutes.  He literally does not seem to shed at all, although that's not possible.  He smells sweet and remains clean, even though it's been wet outside with snow, ice and rain (i.e. mud) ever since we got 'im (and we take him out every fifteen minutes, it seems!). Everyone has tolerated his presence and we've had NO allergic reactions!

Also, he sleeps well through the night, which is a blessing in and of itself!  When we crate him at night, he whimpers for about five minutes, then
resigns himself to the inevitable and conks out.  Then he sleeps quietly until about 7:30 or 8 am, when the baby gets up.  What a good boy!!!

In all, we are quite happy with Benji-boy.  He is such a cute little furball.  He loves attention and is very affectionate. He takes direction well, without losing confidence.  He follows on a leash.  We are coming to regard him as a Wonder-Dog.  I'm betting he'll be house-trained within a couple months.

Barbie, thank you and your wonderful family for doing such a GREAT job with raising our puppy.  Also, thank you for picking Benji for our family.  DEFINITELY the right call!  It is such a leap of faith to allow the breeder to choose your puppy for you, but you did an OUTSTANDING job!!!  Thanks a million.  We will forward some photos for you soon.  As a breeder, you get extremely high marks from the Klaskin family (including the grandparents).  We obviously don't have much personal experience with breeders, but from everything I've read, and based on the superior,
confident pet you've produced and matched with us, you are EXCELLENT!  Please feel free to use us as a reference.

Well, that's it for now.  We're taking Benji out for his first stroll on the beach today at Hamonassett State Park!  We'll try to get some pix for you.

Thanks again!
Seth (and Robyn, Dani, Riki, Shay and, of course,
Benji-boy!)

Walker

Dear Barbie, hope all is going well for you.  It seems you've been very busy with new arrivals and bringing joy to many lucky puppy recipients.  Our lives have certainly been enriched by Walker's arrival almost two years ago.  We very much appreciated the news of his birth as well as your frequent updates and communications and the great pictures during his infancy.

Walker's such a good guy!  He's always been so mellow and gentle yet takes great pride and satisfaction in his responsiblity to corral and exercise Cleo (his cat).  He's a very social character...never meeting an individual that remains a stranger and always able to bring a smile with his kisses, nudges and other antics.  We are always being stopped and complimented on his good looks and approached with questions about the labradoodle breed.  I'm convinced that his great personality is, in large part, due to the great start that you and Cookie provided in his early days.

His health has been excellent.  We have experienced occasional tummy rashes and are working with our vet to try and determine whether he has some kind of food allergy...he's on a duck and potato diet right now and that seems to have calmed it somewhat.  He sure does love his treats...especially carrots and celery!

Walker was the star pupil in his puppy class and advanced obedience training class, earning his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification at 13 months.  We've been taking classes through Dove Lewis, our local non-profit animal hospital, and are scheduled for final testing next Saturday, May 7 for the Delta Society Pet Partners program.  He will finally earn the official designation of "therapy dog".   Keep your fingers crossed that Michael and I pass...Walker's a shoe-in!  Our hope is that our volunteer assignments will be working with elderly and disabled individuals to enrich their lives and spread love.  Walker's certainly got an overabundance to give!

We would be more than happy to correspond or speak to others who may be considering adding a labradoodle to their family.

Fondly,

Marcy & Michael

Georgia

Georgia seems like she had a great two months with you.  She's a happy, well-adjusted, and healthy puppy.  Our vet said that she was very pleased with her -- she had seen some labradoodle puppies in the past (from a different breeder) that had hip and shoulder problems, but she said Georgia's perfect.

As for working with you, we thought that the process was great.  You answered our questions in a timely manner and were extremely helpful in letting us know what was going on with the puppies.  We especially loved the website which let us watch the puppies grow week by week.

Everything here is going well.  Georgia's getting her last series of shots on Monday, and then she'll be able to go to the dog runs and the park.  I know she'll love it!  We started puppy school two weeks ago, and she's doing great.  I don't have new photos, but I will send some soon.

I hope all's well with you.
Best,
Brenda

Murphy

Our 3-month-old puppy, Murphy, is a well-adjusted, happy, healthy member of our family.  He is very smart, and learned to “come” and “sit” within a day or two of training.  He has had two regular check-ups at our veterinarian since we brought him home, and our vet has commented on how healthy and well behaved he is.

Barbie was a pleasure to deal with, and communicated well through the entire “adoption” process.  I would highly recommend her as a reputable breeder with healthy, well care for dogs.

Bill Fenn

Princess

From the time I emailed Barbie from her website (which happened to be about 9 mos – 12 mos before we got our puppy) there was constant communication between us as to what to expect from this breed, visits and the status of potential litters.  We appreciated Barbies diligence and consistency regarding that communication because it’s very easy to lose track of people and their situations over a years period.

We were very impressed with Barbie and her entire family’s care and concern for the dogs.  It was evident on our visits.  We were also impressed with Barbie’s common sense approach to raising a puppy, as neither my wife nor I have had a dog in over 20 years.

Lastly the process of picking and visiting our puppy was handled very timely and professionally.  We have the most well adjusted, friendly and beautiful labradoodle girl.

Princess has definite become a very big part of our family and attribute a great deal of that to Barbie and Landmark Labradoodles.

Sincerely,

Kevin Schuhlen

Sally

Barbie,

Sally was three months old yesterday and is everything we had hoped for.  Besides being a cute fluffy black female Labradoodle, she is fairly well behaved already and has a fun personality. We have taken her to the Vet twice for her shots and received confirmation that Sally's in real good health.

We thank you again for all you've done.  Seems like we got to know you fairly well over the 18 months we waited for Sally to become available. You were always very professional, responsive and informative ... a real pleasure to work with.  Our two visits to your home confirmed that the dogs and puppies are an important part of your family. We are sure the care and environment you provide at Landmark is a key reason why Sally has done so well.

Thank you again for all you have done to enable us to enjoy Sally.  Guess our only wish is that she would stop growing so fast!

Sharon and Art Wolf

Jazzy

I grew up with dogs but this was my first time dog purchase as an adult.  My daughter and I did a lot of research and thankfully we were led to Barbie.  As a matter of fact, another breeder had coincidentally refered her in addition to us finding her via the web.

Barbie has always been extremely helpful to me and my family as we had lots of (probably naive) questions before we even fully decided to take a puppy.  She has always promptly answered our emails with good information and tips on bringing up the puppy.  Barbie's helpful behavior has continued after we brought our "Jazzy" home.

I was impressed with how many questions she had of us.  I tell people how rigorous Barbie was with us so she could make sure that one her babies would get a great home and family.  I always felt that that was a very good sign.

Jazzy is and has been in good health.  She is a wonderful puppy who transitioned easily to her new home and family.  Although we will take some credit for the easy transition and it is possible that some luck is involved, I have to assume much of it has to do with how Barbie raised the pups and the environment in which they lived.
